Waoww , sonds much better .. Is it live ?
Yes, midi from Reason, Jeannie stereo out into Motu sound card, monitored and recorded live into Reason, with a Multiband compressor on the main mix channel.
No, it was a midi file of Ravel. I wish I could play piano like this!!
Some filter sweeps has been performed live, although I could have also used Reason midi cc to automate that. Also a bit of mid Eq applied while recording.
I would like to try automate patch creation, with some kind of randomizer, by using only Reason midi cc, and then save the patches.
Sorta like the Rostrum Rack extension synthesizer for Reason by Panda.
maybe I could do it with text only also. but it would be cool if I could do it with a Reason combinator mapped to all of Jeannie cc...
If it was a Jeannie feature it would be awesome...!
The modulation matrix sources and destinations should be possible to choose, maybe giving them a midi cc could make it possible to
begin a full randomization process. All Osc, env, amp, fx, and mod matrix with midi cc would make it possible.
To program a midi cc randomizer to make random patches then is just a children work then..
LongCovid sounds very nice on the lows, more of an Alien organ than a e-piano. Whilst Piano is particularly good on the mid and highs. The very low notes of Piano 099 can sounds a little bit too intense for a Piano, and lacks a little bit of Hammer transient noise or attack and releas harmonic pitch shifting typical of real pianos. I really like those bright piano patch sounds! I really would like to make more versions of piano patches! I would start from the 099 patch as the reference and try add some pink noise somehow to try imitate the hammer effect.
Tchuss.!
