V 1.0.3 ist raus: Es hat sich viel getan. Pan Spread ist sicherlich sehr willkommen. Erstes Feedback bescheinigt deutlich besseren FX Sound.
V1.0.3 RELEASE NOTES
NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS
1. Stereo SPREAD parameter per-synth, added to VCA MORE page.
Dynamic stereo panning per voice, centered around the existing PAN position.
0% = all voices have the same PAN value; 100% = maximum stereo spread.
2. STEREO WIDTH parameter for the digital effects, located on MASTER EFFECT TYPE page.
This is a Mid/Side processing algorithm which provides additional stereo sweetening for the effects output.
STEREO WIDTH allows the stereo image of the effects signal to be adjusted from 0% (mono) to 200% (super
stereo); 100% gives the original, unprocessed stereo image (default). This process is applied at the very end of
the digital effects chain, independent of which Master Effect Type is selected, and it affects both the Main and
Sub stereo outputs.
3. NOISE REDUCTION parameter added to Settings/Hardware Settings menu.
Automatic noise reduction is now adjustable in dB increments; sets the amount of noise reduction that will
occur in-between notes (when nothing is playing); dynamically reduces apparent background noise level.
Parameter range is 0 dB (no noise reduction) to -24 dB (24 dB of noise reduction when notes aren’t playing).
4. Bipolar front-panel knobs (with zero at center position) now have improved parameter curve for near-zero values.
5. SHIFT button more reliably turns off automatically after some button-press combinations (e.g. SHIFT + COMPARE
to load init preset, SHIFT + KB CONTROL to disable synths)
BUG FIXES
1. Many fixes & improvements to Effects:
• Improved gain matching (wet vs. dry vs. bypassed)
• Fixed a delay-time offset bug in Dual Chorus and Ensemble effects
• Fixed known digital-dry vs. analog-dry FX signal bugs
• Fixed a phase inversion on master effects signal path (affected main/headphone outs, not subs or inserts).
• Vocoder: Fixed a bug in the internal signal routing which was preventing vocoder effect from working
correctly.
2. Sequencer: if NOTE TRIG is active, HOLD function allows sequence to continue playing.
3. Added filename validity checking for saved preset names.
4. Headphone and Master Volume levels were saved/restored when changing User Space; these levels now always
match the panel knobs.
5. Arpeggiator: if arpeggiator is running and the HOLD function is active, the arpeggiator will continue to play when
KEYBOARD CONTROL is turned off.
This allows creating a repeating arpeggio pattern and then using the keyboard to play other Synth parts
without affecting the arpeggiation.
7. Chord Memory: “Silent Learn” mode is now actually silent.
8. Fixed system hang on setting Date/Time.
KNOWN ISSUES STILL PRESENT IN V1.0.3
Below is a list of many, but not all of the known issues still present in v1.0.3
FIXES FOR MOST OF THESE ITEMS ARE ALREADY IN PROCESS
1. Sustain pedal doesn’t hold arp or sequencer.
2. Assigning controllers (such as Expression Pedal) to VCA Level doesn’t give good results.
3. Exporting User Space while DUPL. ON EXPORT = Manual Rename doesn’t work (if exporting a duplicate of a user
space already exported to flash drive).
4. Multiple synced sequences with different clock divisions may drift out of sync with each other.
5. Chord Mode doesn’t handle note-off correctly, for the case where more than one instance of the same pitch is
playing as a result of multiple overlapping chords being played.
6. Some panel knobs send MIDI CCs, but these CCs are not received by the hardware yet. Full MIDI implementation
still in development.
7. Sync to external MIDI clock not fully implemented (needs improvement).
8. Sequencer TIE doesn’t use same voice to play tied notes.
9. Velocity modulation of envelope levels is not scaled correctly (gets too quiet too soon).
10. MIDI note-on can output 0 velocity.
11. If multiple synths are selected using Panel Focus, soft knobs don’t edit parameter value for all selected synths
USB MIDI not working yet on Windows systems.
12. Multiple synced sequences with different clock divisions may drift out of sync with each other.
13. Chord Mode doesn’t handle note-off correctly for the case where more than one instance of the same pitch is
playing as a result of multiple overlapping chords being played.
