Hier nun die Modal Ankündigung:
Dear Modal Customer,
We’re pleased to advise you that OS v1.01-00 update is available for your Modal 002 / 002R / 001.
Please, connect your Modal instrument to the Internet and update it as soon as possible.
The updated version of the User Manual for each product can be downloaded directly from our website:
http://www.modalelectronics.com/
Major improvements and new features:
- Full support for the new optional Modal 002 Digital I/O expansion card (the front panel ‘Assign’ section - marked as ‘FX’ on earlier 002 units - can now be used to control the FX parameters)
- Individual modulation depths provided for all LFO-2 destinations
- VCA-EG and VCF-EG retrigger
- Auto-glide
- LFO2 new features: Hi speed mode, Unipolar mode and Restart/FreeRun/Single modes
- Transpose 'Lock' Mode. You can now double click the transpose button (instead of holding it) to enabled the keyboard to be used to transpose playing arps and sequences. Click the button again to unlock.
- Inidividual oscillator tuning. Whilst you have selected an oscillator on the LCD tuning settings page, that oscillator will be soloed.
- MIDI-in Activity Indicator. The crochet symbol on the top bar of the LCD will now flash when recieving any MIDI-in data except for clock messages. Note that messages not on the global MIDI channel will also be shown here.
- Update installation time greatly reduced and improved boot speed when synth is not connected to a network
- The sequence and animation of all parts can now be accessed from the Web UI whilst in Performance mode
- Improved sync issues between the LCD and panel Seq/Ani/Arp button LED
- Previously, in the Modal 002 operating system, whenever a patch was selected that processes external audio, all of the 12 voices (8 on a Modal 002r 8 voice) would be tied up, even though only the first four voices would actually be used. To improve the use of external audio input processing in Performance mode, this has now changed where an ‘Ext In’ value of > 0 will only play on the first four voices, the remaining 8 (or 4) voices being disabled - but would be available as additional voices in a Performance mode patch.
IMPORTANT: please do be aware that the ‘Ext In’ value in some earlier factory patches MAY be greater than ‘0’ - this will result in voices being ‘lost’. To correct this, simply change the ‘Ext In’ value to be ‘0’ and overwrite the patch
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
The Modal team
