I am one of those kids dancing with these colourful bears. The video was recorded in the back playground area of Crampton Primary School in South East London in the late 90s. I remember it being one of those “no work/fun days” in Primary school. I can’t remember if they played this song while they asked us to dance and jump around with the bears but I vaguely remember speakers and loud noises and also not 100% sure they got consent from all our parents as well.. haha (the 90s). Obviously this video is quite nostalgic for me as I can pause the video and name some of the kids running around.. Steven (he’s the one hugging the bear), Raina, Sean and Chantelle. 20+ years later and I’m a massive fan of RDJ and he’s a great inspiration to me. I fortunately briefly got to meet RDJ in the backstage area after his crazy set at Coachella in 2019 (I was playing bass for a pop artist) and he gave me the weirdest handshake…haha. I don’t think he really wanted to talk as he was trying to bypass the backstage 1-way system and was in a rush to get a lift back to the hotel. He said something to the security guard and they let him through. Long Live RDJ.
