Re: Elektron Octratrack thread

Vor allem die Tatsache, das Pitch endlich klar in Halbtönen eingestellt werden kann, macht gerade G.A.S.!

you can use Octatrack as a wavetable synth similar to MMs DPRO.
...
1. load up a flexmachine and turn loop on.
2. load a single wave userform.
3. adjust pitch with PTCH and RATE
4. adjust the envelope with ATK, HOLD and REL
same technique can also be used on long samles, just catch a single cycle by trimming the sample ... quite cool heh
...
The pitch knob has +/- 1 octave, centre being original pitch, you can hold down the encoder to skip in semitone steps, or hold down function and turn to move in octave jumps.
...
so, anyone want to take this a step further and put 64 single cycle waves end to end as one file in loop mode and then modulate the start/end position of the sample so that it will scan through the waves like a true wavetable synth?????
