After an extended summer break, we are kicking off this season with a very special guest: Frank Bretschneider.
Frank Bretschneider is a musician, composer, and video artist based in Berlin. His work is known for precise sound placement, complex, interwoven rhythm structures, and a minimal, flowing approach. Described as "abstract analogue pointillism," "ambience for spaceports," or "hypnotic echo chamber pulsebeat," Bretschneider’s subtle and detailed music is reflected in his visuals: perfect translations of the qualities found in music into visual phenomena. He performs at music and new media festivals worldwide.
For a fully immersive experience, all concerts at DAS BAUWERK are broadcast through provided headphones. Special thanks to the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne and Fritz Kola for their ongoing support.
