Release Infos:
For the deep techno artist JOIX, science fiction books and movies are a significant source of inspiration, and it was finally time for him to express this musically with a more conceptual approach than ever before. The result is the first half of the album presented here, titled Science, which consists of 4 deep techno tracks that explore scientific themes from cosmology, astrophysics, quantum theory, and particle physics. Robotic voices move across a dense web of experimental and spherical sounds, supported by driving rhythms that not only create a unique listening experience but also invite you to dance.
- Big Bang (Gregorian Mix) in new version expands the original mix of 2020 with greater depth and an increased hypnotic effect. The voice of the astrophysicist sounds even more synthetic, and the basslines rumble more ominously and expansively in a deep space. Like an organic mass, the track stretches back and forth, reflecting in its own way the states of the young universe shortly after the Big Bang. Because in the beginning, there was sound.
- Is Schroedinger's cat dead or still alive? At least in this track, it meows, purrs, and hisses with all its might in the multiverses of deep basslines and experimental sounds. Meouwrrrrr!
- Gravitational Wave: A massive wave rushes toward our Earth and breaks during the epic break in the dark and delicate atmosphere of a world that looks completely different after the track's final movement.
- Darmstadtium directly references the science city of Darmstadt, where the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research first created this new synthetic element using a particle accelerator in 1994. It was set to synthetic music with this release.
