AMSynths verschickt ab 10. Dezember 2024 b.a.w. nicht mehr in die EU

AMSynths aus England verschickt laut Meldung auf dem Facebook Kanal ab dem 10. Dezember 2024 erstmal keine Module mehr in die EU:


EU SALES PAUSE: Unfortunately sales by AMSynths to EU customers will be suspended on 10th December due to the new EU Safety Regulations (GPSR) which are effective 13th December.

Whilst our products are very safe and we have the correct compliance and technical documentation in place, the cost of employing an EU based Authorised Representative to check compliance is expensive and time consuming to set up.

Non-compliance results in shipments being destroyed and a large fine for the manufacturer. I need to comply with all regulations, so going under the wire is not an option.

Module stocks are being refreshed over the next 2 weeks, to enable our highly valued EU customers to purchase modules before midnight on the 10th December. If you are after a module do not delay.

SALES TO NON-EU CUSTOMERS such as the UK, USA, Canada, Norway, Switzerland are NOT AFFECTED and continue as normal.

SALES TO NI (Northern Ireland) are affected and have ceased permanently due to significant issues with getting shipments delivered via NI customs and An Post, plus the impact of GPSR.

Many thanks to my EU customers for making AMSynths a success! I am hoping to restart EU sales in early 2025 with either an EU Authorised Representative or an EU Distributor. More details will be available in a few weeks time.

Vielleicht bekommt er nochmal eine Ladung vor dem 10.12. rein. Ich warte auch noch auf etwas, da habe ich aber schon die Aussage von ihm bekommen, dass er daran arbeitet. Mein viel größeres Problem sind drei VCOs, die wahrscheinlich erst ab Januar ins Programm kommen und ich somit nicht bestellen kann. Nun ja, die Hoffnung ist, dass er irgendwann im ersten Quartal das Thema mit den EU Anforderungen gelöst bekommt. Kann nur hoffen, dass ich die VCOs dann noch bekomme... das ist ja bei ihm immer so eine Sache.

Zur Info, das hatte Rob schon Ende Januar geschrieben. Es geht also weiter. Dachte mir, dass das vielleicht den einen oder anderen interessiert. Den Versand mit FedEx habe ich übrigens neulich mal ausprobiert... geht zwar deutlich schneller als Versand über Royal Mail und Deutsche Post, aber FedEx nimmt nicht nur 6€ Zollauslagengebühr wie Deutsche Post, sondern 17,85€ (15€ plus Steuer).


AMSYNTHS NEWS: We have appointed our EU authorised rep and will be GPSR compliant within a few weeks. Sales to the EU of modules will then restart using the existing Royal Mail shipping, with Fedex as an option. Sales of kits may also be restarted, depending on how much documentation is needed.

AMSynths will be at SynthEast 2025 on 22nd February at Table 22 in the main hall. We will demonstrate our vintage analog modules across Moog, 100M, PPG and 2500 designs, with a large system of three interlinked 9U cabinets being the main focus.

During February we will announce some exciting new modules, with immediate shipping, and restock the favourites (including the AM928 shown below). With NAMM behind us, there is some airtime for new AMSynths product videos.

Ja, das ist leider "normal" Ich habe schon einiges bei Rob bestellt und das tut jedes Mal richtig weh, wenn ich es bei der Post abhole.

Wie hast du denn da bestellen können? Wenn ich zum Shop gehe steht da immer noch, dass es derzeit keine Verkäufe in die EU gibt?

Lass es mich mal so sagen....
als ich noch meine Autos getuned habe ( das ist allerdings 20 jahre her ) habe ich meine neue Japan- und US-Elektronik als gebrauchte Ersatzteile deklariert schicken lassen. Dafür gab es damals keinen Vertrieb in Europa.
Ich weiss nicht ob sich da was geändert hat.
