The Polivoks is probably the most well-known Russian synthesizer. It was built from 1982 to 1990 and it is monophonic or duophonic, just like the Odyssey. It is famous for its excellent filter, which begins to scream at high resonance. Less famous is the rattly keyboard. It offers 2 oscillators (with frequency modulation), noise, 1 low/band pass filter, 1 LFO, 2 (fast!) ADSR envelopes. No ringmodulation, no PWM. And no MIDI or CV/Gate, but there are mods for adding CV/Gate.

Der Polivoks ist vermutlich der bekannteste russische Synthesizer. Er wurde von 1982 bis 1990 gebaut und ist monophon oder duophon, genau wie der Odyssey. Er ist berühmt für sein hervorragendes Filter, das bei hoher Resonanz anfängt wild zu kreischen. Weniger berühmt ist die klapprige Tastatur. Er bietet 2 Oszillatoren (mit Frequenzmodulation), Noise, 1 Tief-/Bandpassfilter, 1 LFO, 2 (schnelle!) ADSR Hüllkurven. Keine Ringmodulation, keine PWM. Und kein MIDI oder CV/Gate, aber für CV/Gate gibt es Modifikationen.
