Im Drummerworld Forum hat einer geschrieben, dass es mittlerweile dort anscheinend ähnlich leer ist, wie in Frankfurt:
I knew that many exhibitors would be absent or downsizing for this show as they did in 2023. Mainstays like Roland, DW, Zildjian and Sabian didn't have booths, and Pearl, Remo, Paiste and others were represented with small booths and meeting rooms - no product on display. Mapex and Sonor were in their distributor (KHS) meeting rooms and Ludwig had a tiny presence in parent company Conn-Selmer's booth. Dixon, Grestsch & Premier were present, along with a handful of smaller drum companies. It seemed like there were more small cymbal companies than before, or perhaps the absence of the others made it seem that way. I don't recall seeing Meinl at all.
LOTS of empty spaces and an overall reduced footprint in the drum hall (Hall C) and there was an obvious presence of eating and food areas, and NAMM booths where there used to be exhibitors.
I did see several people that I know, and that always makes it worthwhile to be there. Normally I spend all 4 shows days there - plus a few set-up days with Ludwig - and I usually feel like I didn't see it all. But this time around, I saw just about everything I needed to, and was out by 1pm. No reason to go back on the other 3 days.
It would be cool if the show returned to its pre-pandemic majesty, but the consensus isn't very positive about that.
