Hallo, wollte mal fragen, ob Ihr Lust hättet hier in dem Thread Tracks (in Videoform) zu posten, die live mit dem Eurorack-Modular eingespielt wurden? Gerne auch mit vorprogrammierten Pattern... Oder gibt es schon hier so eine Sammlung von Videos? Ich fang mal an mit einem Musikstück von Benjamin Kinsman aus Sydney:

Scales is also triggered by the Beatstep Pro. The timbre of plaits i modulated via my LFO sometimes. The output of Plaits then runs thru TipTop Audio Z-DSP (Shimmer Card) to get some nice lush reverb. Bass (Eurorack): Mutable Tides triggered and controlled by the Beatstep. Kick and Snare 1: Korg Volca Sample triggered and clocked by the Beatstep Pro Kick and Snare 2 (VCV Rack): Knock Bass Drum and Hora Snare Drum triggered by the Impromptu Gate Seq 64 Dub Chords (VCV Rack): Macro Oscillator 2 triggered by Clocked running thru Freak and Plateau Hat 1 (VCV Rack): Noise into Spank triggered by the Random Sampler (Marbles) Hat 2 (VCV Rack): Macro Oscillator 2 in Noise mode thru Spank triggered by the Random Sampler Rhythmical String Sound (VCV Rack): Noise thru Spank into Resonator triggered by the Random Sampler Live Percussion: Impaktor App triggered by my dirty fingers slaping my desk running thru Kaoss Pad in Delay Mode :) Everything recorded via RME Global Record. Musikalisch wirklich super schön, aber ich hab den Verdacht, dass ein Großteil (nämlich die Chords und Melodie) nicht vom Modular stammt. Die ganzen klicks und so allein sind schon wirklich großartig.

Eben. Das meine ich.
Und wenn das "chords: er-301" die basis ist, dann hat das in meinen Augen auch nicht viel mit "Modular Musik" zu tun. Das ist eine Sampleschleuder. Ob er da eine MPC Ableton oder Cubase nimmt, ist letztlich egal.

(Nochmal: der Rest ist wirklich großartig, und ich bin sicher der letzte, der nicht der Kombination von Modular und konventionellen Elektroinstrumenten das Wort reden würde. Mache ich ja selbst).

...dieses "tim thaler"-lead verursacht bei mir gänsehaut...aber/leider im negativen sinn...wie dem auch sei, geschmäcker sind bekanntlich (gottseidank) verschieden....

...und da wundert manch einer sich wirklich, dass bezüglich modular ein gewisses vorurteil herrscht? :wft: ...wer sitzt da im publikum? Pfeifenrauchende hornbrillenträger mit schwarzem Rollkragenpulli?....
