The World is Sound
After all these mega long tutorials (up to 2 hours) I´ve produced in the last 2 years (and will continue producing) I was in the mood for a short one: three and a half minutes. It´s the start of a long series of ultra short videos, each demonstrating another idea of how to get “new and fresh” sounds for your projects. Ja, man kann mit Kochtopfdeckeln und gurgelndem Wasser auch sehr schöne Dinge machen.

Das Problem bei solche fiel recordings sind immer nur die Nebengeräusche. Uhren, Nachbarn, Autos... die Umwelt ist nun mal kein Tonstudio.

Joa, hatte auch das H2n und H4n und die waren eine schöne Fundgrube.
Das mit den Nebengeräuschen stimmt schon, kann man aber cutten für kurze Samples.
Ein Kollege meinte mal, die besten Drums kommen ausm Staubsauger.

Just an appetizer of how to creatively use reverb to get new and individual sounds for your projects. Whether using the early reflections, the middle part of the tail of the reverb or its far end, whether doing some volume sculpturing or a deep level granular surgery or just some easy layering: good sounds are meant to get into your projects.
