=current audio relevant interfaces=
* usb 2 and usb 3.0 (3.0 is faster but not supported by audio interfaces so far)
* Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 (double speed, fastest one available atm - in 2014)
* Firewire 400 and 800 (since usb 3 is fast enough fw was dropped by Apple and is only supported via 29€-interfaces in their Retina Macbook Pro Line - all other macs lost their firewire already. but is still dominant audio interface connection type)

Apple Computer

  • renamed on 12th of January 2007 to Apple Inc. (in fact they sell iPods, music, and iPhones now..)
  • founded by Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs.
