Delay

Effect: Delay. Well it's really just a Delay of the Signal, to make echoes. Very Basic. On the FX Software and Hardware most Delays offer Feedback (Number of repeats of the signal), delay time and damping (one or 2 filters: LPF / HPF).

Delays are also used in Physical Modeling as Resonators. Also Phasers, Comb filters are simply Delays with short delay time.
