Thanks for your request!
Before i answer all your questions, I took some time and read trough the
thread
in the forum link you suggested, and i would like to make a comment or two:
Step smoothing:
You can have step smoothing on all 8CV if you like. Not just 4 of them!
All you need
are one pot, a capacitor one or two OP amp's and multiply that for every
CV you
intend to use. Included with this mail are GIF schematic you can share
with your
forum friends.
OK, now to your request of making kits and such!
Yes, i could do it in kit form but i would prefer to avoid it for
several reasons however i would like to offer you a suggestion first!
Since several of you at the forum seams to have great doubt's about
soldering SMD
(which you should not have because its quite easy in reality to solder
SMD in SO packages).
I could sell you only the MCU and DAC and two PLCC to DIP/Trough Hole
sockets,
one for the MCU (PLCC52) and the other are for the DAC (PLCC20).
In this way the MCU and DAC becomes TH instead of SMD, you can
then build the rest of the MCX16 in TH/DIP to your harts delight if you
want to!
You can then also make a group buy for the rest of the MCX16 components
and save plenty of money.
I can sell the MCU + DAC + two PLCC to TH converter sockets for 80euro +
shipment.
You will get a full set of schematics for the MCX16, the rest of the
components
to make a MCX16 are just industry standard things like TL072/LF353,4511
HC597 and so on, no special or difficult to get.You will find the components
at most suppliers and if not there are plenty of derivate to use.
I include the schematic in this email so you can check out the rest
of the components that you would need to complete the MCX16.
Let me know your view on this.
Regards
Caps.
