So virtuelles Kabelgedöns hat irgendwie was, auch wenn es eigentlich Blödsinn ist und ne Modmatrix es genauso gut tun würde...
 
Falsch, denn die Modmatrix erfast in seltenen Fällen Audioverbindungen, bestenfalls hat man die OSCs als Modquellen, aber da gibt es auch nur superwenige. Daher: Nope, das ist keine Lösung. Das ist auch nicht modular, es wäre semimodular, per definition.
 
Ich hüpf im Dreieck. Irgendwie baut der Urs immer genau die Software, die ich mir wünsche. Zebrify war schon so ne super Sache. Einfach nur klasse!

neues von urs: das dings heißt "bazille" (no pun intended) und wird ein teil des berlin modular. emulierte digitale oscs (fm, pd), zirkuläres routing möglich, aliasing (wenn man will), cpu-hungrig ohne ende. 8)

Ah ok, ich verstehe, hat Urs im Thread schon erklärt. Berlin Modular soll das fertige Produkt heißen und "Bazille" :twisted: ist nur eine Synth der Alpha Version.

Hier die Specs vom ACE:
Feature-wise Ace *seems* heavily underspec'ed, but it's really deep anyhow:

- 2 x LFO (1 sine, 1 sine/tri/saw/sqr) 0Hz - 20kHz
- 2 x ADSR (same as Bazille)
- 2 x VCO (saw/pwm) 0Hz - 20kHz, VCO1 with SubOsc
- 2 x VCF (almost same as Bazille, but only two outlets: LP1/LP2/LP3/LP4, HP/BP/BR)
- 2 x VCA/Pan
- 2 x Multiples (as in Bazille)
- 1 x Mixer (Osc balance, Sub, Noise, Aux)
- 1 x Ramp Generator (up->hold->down->rest, loops if rest < 100)
- 1 x noise (white, pink)
- 1 x the common extras, such as Glide/Glide2
- 1 x stereo chorus (global)
- 1 x ping pong delay (global)
- 1 x Bass/Treble booster (global)

25 signal sources, 30+ signal targets, some paths wired internally so that it makes noise even without a single cable attached (think ARP 2600).

100% free of Supersaw. Instead it has:

- exceptional sync /w FM (VCO1->VCO2, think Virus)
- LFOs that can be used as additional VCOs an vice versa
- exceptional filter sound including convincing self oscillation

Das hat sich ganz schön verändert über die Zeit. Hast du den Cwejman als Basis Vorbild genommen und dann "optimiert"?
Wirkt fast so im Konzept.

Auch wenn es was anderes geworden ist. Daher kleines "Special" im Blog dazu. Weil interessant.
 
Cool! Vor allem die grafische Umsetzung ist richtig gelungen. Das ist mir bei Zebra ein ziemlicher Dorn im Auge...

@urs: cool, dass du reinschaust. bin gespannt, auch wenn ich das zebra schon leider viel zu selten fütter. aus zeitgründen natürlich nur.

bazille und ace sind zwei verschiedene synths, bazille eher digital (phase modulation), ace eher "kleiner" VA.

Zur Preispolitik: Wenn man den Vorabsynth ACE für 69,- € kauft, dann wird einem das komplett auf den Preis für Berlin Modular angerechnet, wenn der dann in 2010 kommt (lt. Urs H. im KVR-Thread).
Sehr fair IMHO - und aus CRM-Gesichtspunkten eine sehr kluge Entscheidung. :supi:
