Windows und MIDI im Betriebssystem? Intel X64 und ARM64 / MIDI 2 etc.

Dieses Projekt ähnelt Core-MIDI für Mac, wobei das natürlich alles schon lange lange drin ist.
Das alles fehlt Windows und ich finde es sehr gut, dass es eine offizielle Gruppe gibt, die von Microsoft selbst für Windows vorgesehen ist.

Das könnten gute Nachrichten sein.

Die sollten lieber CoreAudio kopieren, damit man mehrere Soundkarten benutzen kan... Midi ist doch sowas von 80er...

Aber mehrere USB Audio Geräte zu kombinieren ist auch nicht wirklich günstig für die CPU.

Richtig. Doch wer noch alte Klangerzeuger hat, ist auf Midi angewiesen.

Auch aktuellste Synth nutzten MIDI, USB MIDI ist auch MIDI. Außer jemand nutzt noch modernere Sachen wie - cv/gate
Um Audio geht es hier nicht. Das ist nur MIDI - Der ganze Teil den man beim Gegner als Core MIDI zusammenfassen würde.

Ich finde das gut, dass die das machen. Wenn das im System wäre und fest dazu gehört(e) - wäre das für alle besser.

Das sollte absolut nicht gegen Midi sein, im Gegenteil ich bin ein großer Midifan, besonders DIN weniger USB...

Nur hatte ich in den letzten 20 Jahren selten Probleme mit Midi unter Windows und Linux, Audio ist da in meinen Augen ein größeres Sorgenkind...

Ich bin kein großer Applefan aber CoreAudio macht vieles richtig was ich bei ASIO unter Windows vermisse.
