JX3P Midi Update Kit

Hallo zusammen,

habe ich gerade im SOS Forum gesehen:

50 -75 EUR excl. shipping.

This upgrade kit offers:

* simultaneously use of the MIDI Input and PG-200
* control the JX-3P realtime with standard MIDI CC messages. (i.e. with a MIDI-Knob controller). No need anymore for a real PG200 to tweak your JX-3P with knobs
* all knobs and switches on the PG-200 send out standard MIDI CC messages.
* create, load and store new JX-3P patches with your computer, and share them with other people.
* select the MIDI channel on the JX-3P as 1, 2, 3 or OMNI
* velocity sensitivity (MIDI input only, not the keyboard)

Oh wow midi cc das ist wirklich ein lohnendes update!

liebäugel schon lange mit jx3p. seit ich ihn mal hörte.
aber mich stört das er nur eine hüllkurfe hat.
wie verhält es sich eigentlich mit dem jx8p gibts für den auch so eine mod.oder hat der das garnicht nötig und er kann midi cc.

kann man die beide eigentlich klanglich verkleichen?

Ich denke, mit Velocity, At und Value-Slider ist der JX8P gegenüber dem JX3P keine schlechte Wahl, zumal klanglich flexibler.

Ansonsten ist der JX10 (mit 2xJX8P Innenleben) einen Blick wert, allerdings ist die Midi-Implementierung gegenüber dem JX8P schlechter.

Der JX3P hat neben der einen richtigen Hüllkurve noch eine "Gate-Hüllkurve", mit den beiden kann man schon einiges anstellen.
Für fette Pads, schöne schmutzige Orgel und geil schneidende Sync-Sound ist der Synth eine sehr gute Wahl. Die Hüllkurve ist sehr langsam, die langsamste die ich bisher gehört habe, also knackige Bässe sind nicht drin.
Ich finde dass man den 3P sehr gut ohne Programmer editieren kann, er hat ja nur 32 Parameter und die werden mit einem Fader verändert (also Gott sei Dank keine Tasten-Eingabe wie z.B. beim Matrix 6)
Beim JX8P ist der Programmer (PG-800) schon fast pflicht.
Klanglich sind beiden schon vergleichbar, der JX8P kann natürlich etwas mehr, die Hüllkurve sind auch etwas schneller.
Ein Jupiter 6 oder Juno 6o klingen dagegen schon deutlich anders als die JX-Serie

ich habe mir das kit für 50€ gegönnt und bin sehr zufrieden... nun hat der Jx3p Midi in allen richtungen und der pg leuft auch gleichzeitig ...echt super...es gibt dort auch einen kostenlosen editor und free patches, kann ich nur empfehelen !

Der einbau und das zusammenbauen der DIY version hat max. 2Std gedauert !!!

jo, sehr sinnvolle erweiterung, hatte ich bei meinen damals auch eingebaut.
