Slope of a Filter is the exact steepness of the Filter cutting frequencies of the Spectrum, a standard synthesizer filter uses 24 dB / Octave steepness (or slope) to filter out high frequencies, in words: if you have a noise signal unfiltered you get a signal with 4 times damped signal for every octave beginning from the cutoff frequency set.

the Resonance has no influence in th Slope.
