Filter with more than one Filter type like Lowpass (LPF), Highpass (HPF), Bandpass (BPF) and Notch. If it has 2 or more was of filtering out not just the trebble/high frequencies it is a multimode filter, if it's just Lowpass with different Slopes or not it is not a multimode filter.
