Yamaha CX5M
Yamaha CX5M + CX5MII Computers, 8 Bit based on the late MSX Standard which was set by japanese companies, quite late in 1984/85 because the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST catched up with it and overtook with 16 Bit processors and therefore much better graphics, sound and performance.
- only MIDI equipped computer with built in DX21 or more FB01-kind of sound chip.
- that chip wasn't reachable via MSX basic and the editor and sequencer software was quite, uhm, unconvenient to use. ok, the editor was fine for that time, but the equencer did not hit the way ppl wanted to compose..
