† 21. August 2005 in Asheville (USA, North Carolina)
He started in the music industry by selling theremin kits as teenager.
He invented the synthesizer the way most of them are build.
Other synthesizer inventors were Don Buchla of Buchla, ...
He founded Moog Music, a kind of reborn version of his original company founded in the late sixties.
