on the waldorf booth 2003 and on the schneidersbuero booth in 2004 by mario schönwälder / manikin records/electornics : this sequencer "schrittmacher" from manikin records people has 8 rows of 16 steps that can be used as you like (serial/parallel any controllers/note) pressing, the knobs are also buttons that can be used for setting or "unsetting" the events per track. you have 2 midi ports and 4 sequence "bunches" of 8 sequences to be exact! you can assign any controller,note or something to the tracks.. you can loop by pressing the step encoders (!!) for live performance.. you can also "chain" or "expand" 2 tracks, so you can have 32step-sequences also!.. planned to be out in summer 2003 distributed by TSI at around 1500E. a bit like Numerology in software: the schrittmacher from manikin! you can set one of 8 lines to control one of t he 8 lines (!)! or some midi,length,etc.. parameter ,even direction.. you have 4 sections qith 8 lines each.

newer sequencer concepts: the radikal spectralis and abviously the genoqs octopus has more than 32th notes to offer per grid!! imo that will be necessary because the music has changed , abstract beats, dnb and things like this and jazzy stuff need simply more resolution!!

am waldorf stand gabs 2003 den sequencer "schrittmacher" von manikin records zu sehen das untere bild stammt von der musikmesse 2004 schneidersbüro/superbooth: - es gibt 4 sequenzenbündel a 8 sequencen ,die je 16 steps haben und jeder art von signal sich annehmen können: control,note,gates etc.. per tastedruck auf die drehencoder kann man loops machen zwischen den steps. sprünge und co sind auch kein problem auch an eine zufällige stelle, alle sequenzen können unabhängig voneinander laufen und starten. it has 8 rows of 16 steps that can be used as you like (serial/parallel any controllers/note) pressing, the knobs are also buttons that can be used for setting or "unsetting" the events per track. you can also "chain" or "expand" 2 tracks, so you can have 32step-sequences also!.. er ist nun fertig (2004) distributed by schneidersbuero und manikin at around 1500E. - der sequencer hat 16steps und 8 reihen,die mit beliebigen controller oder notendaten bestückt werden können: ausserdem kann zB ein step auf zufall gestellt werden oder als pause dienen etc.. daher kann man auch einige tracks aneinanderhängen um mehr als 16 steps zu erreichen.. dazu kann man auch ketten oder parallele strukturen basteln..schrittmacher sequencer schrittmacher (manikin)! - der schrittmacher hat viel von software sequencern wie numerology (five12) oder ähnliches.. eine line von 8 kann einen parameter einer anderen von 8 lines steuern. es gibt 4 gruppen von 8lines.
