MODAL alias Modal Electronics - Modal Electronics • formerly/alternatively called Modulus
• Paul Maddox (on the left, who founded Modulus and made the Monowave) and Philip Taysom form a new UK based company to make high quality synthesisers (not just synthesizers).

The company was named Modulus as well, but when they released the 002 synth they switched over to the Modal name.

• Paul Maddox (links zu sehen) und Philip Taysom gründeten Modal Electronics im Vereinigten Königreich, um hochwertige Synthesiser zu bauen. Ja, wirklich Synthesiser, nicht einfach nur Synthesizer.

Paul hat vorher den Modulus Monowave gebaut und hatte entsprechende Erfahrung. Die Firma hieß auch zunächst so, nannte sich aber während der Gründung und Vorstellung des 002 um in Modal.
