this 2 OSCed synth had everything one could dream of: pulse or triangular and both could be set in it's symmetry (like on the matrix 6) so you could have PWM pulse waves and everything between triangle and sawtooth (up/down)!!, syncable VCOs, 12 and 24dB/oct slope for the filter (lpf) amd 8 memories (eight!)
only "limitation" to the ob1 are those level switches for vco mix and noise etc.. 0dB,-3dB or off but: both VCOs got another subosc with these switches! so at least you have "4 OSCs"..
anyway it is a bit thinner than the SEM modules VCOs but more versatile. filters: same, it's 2 or 4 pole, compared to the "magic knob" on the SEMs to seamlessly "morph" from LPF via notch to HPF, the "OFF" position is BPF. on the OB-1 it is 12 or 24dB LPF only.
bowing the bender down adds some noise to the sound! sounds cool!
