Die komplette Collection von Arturia und Native Instruments (habe nur älteres Komplete, neuere kann ich leider nicht testen, habe ich nicht) funktionieren mit dem heutigen Update 10.11.1 wieder in Logic, in Ableton Live haben sie ohnehin immer funktioniert. Yosemite updates to 10.10.1 / iOS to 8.1.1 – both well recommended – sollte man installieren!
Since Yosemite wasn’t perfect on WLAN speed and iOS 8.XX needed some tweaks – now / today there’s both and I‘ recommend to install both – it’s about reliance on and with everything over „the air“. It has fixed a little start-problem with Safari on my Mac Pro, while the MBP has been ok before – but both feel a lot faster when it’s about things on the internet (WLAN/Wifi) – so they finally found the bugs. ios is just a bit fast on older devices – which is welcome.…

RME – updates mixers – for all interfaces incl. FW400/800 – fireface and usb
RME has released their Total Mix für any old and new interfaces – so FW400/800, UFC and others just look like this now: to me this step and option will sooner or later will end up in an APP to control everything by OSC or MIDI or — maybe blutooth somewhat later when connected (since the interfaces do not have BT of course) but surely by OSC and the network already. it has been controllable via MIDI ever since the old green’ish design – but there will be more coming up…
