This FM Synth has been available on both iPhone and iPad, but the iPad Version now has a perfect interface, great job! as a user I am happy about this free update. it also reacts to velocity! SynthesizerMagazin Ausgabe #28 updates.. Die im noch aktuellen grade ausgelieferten Synthesizer-Magazin beschriebenen Yamaha Helfer haben noch zusätzliche Funktionen bekommen, die heute veröffentlicht wurden (kostenlos für Besitzer, Preise bleiben gleich bei 2,99€): Die Arp & Drum Abteilung bekommt in der Drum-Pad Abteilung die Möglichkeit kleine Sequenzen abzufeuern. Leider noch keine Controller-Automatisier-Sequenz im Sinne eines Modsequencers, denn DAS wäre der Hammer, aber der erste Schritt in die richtige Richtung. tg77miditouch this is as you might want your TG77 to be – fully controllable via touch pad, the creator says some parameters do not work so far (algo change) but a lot of already do – he told he would post it on the „iosmidi“ forum for midi touch which is a great service. thanks mr. omega attraktor. mehr / more @ Forum..

TNR-i – TENORI-ON – Yamaha has released a simulation of the Tenori-On on the iPad. works on the iPhone, too. 16€ isn’t cheap but cheaper than the hardware was/is. has all modes and functions of the original. it can sync to other TNRs via the Game Center (from Apple). the data on the Hardware SD Cards can be load to the App as well. not said: if it loads a sample stack of 48 sounds as the original and sending MIDI signals isn’t clear, but for that price I’d assume…

this free app syncs all other Korg Apps and Monotribes, as you can see there is tap tempo, swing 50-75% and a „Wist“ button to sync and start/stop all up with Monotribe and iDevices. how it works? well it outputs simple triggers to audio which is sync’ing the tribes, so don’t think about magic, it just works like those old days. you’d still need converters to trigger most analog gear.
