hmm, really wondering how they could make the iPad do 48 audio tracks and very close to DAW-editing like this – and those EQ and compressor look really cool, don’t know if they sound as good as I’d expect. But it has it’s price, to me the highest known for apps ever – $50. they even talk about VST Plugins and one being from PSP. I am not sure… but well – I did not find it on the Appstore,. maybe it’s not real? but it looks cool… especially compared…

this magic little thing gives you more than 2 audio outputs. I don’t see more than 2 ins and outs here, but well – there is USB Host in there.but they say featuring six stereo in / outs, headphone out, two USB ports, a „hub-able“ USB host, Ethernet / network sharing and MIDI pass-thru. so if that’s true and it’s supportet by iOs Core Audio this is WOW! iConnectivity outs iConnectMUSE digital audio mixer for iOSers (video) — Engadget. a mixer or real multiport? hmm..

TNR-i – TENORI-ON – Yamaha has released a simulation of the Tenori-On on the iPad. works on the iPhone, too. 16€ isn’t cheap but cheaper than the hardware was/is. has all modes and functions of the original. it can sync to other TNRs via the Game Center (from Apple). the data on the Hardware SD Cards can be load to the App as well. not said: if it loads a sample stack of 48 sounds as the original and sending MIDI signals isn’t clear, but for that price I’d assume…

very interesting new feature from apple will come in the next update for iDevices, it will contain MIDI and MIDI via USB handling. I did not really expect them to do that, so I am surprised. USB? yes, thats the connector on all of them. so in fact all iDevs got USB, the only Hardware-MIDI-Interface für iDevs is the one from Line6 (see Interface link below). So this may bring the Pads and Pods a pro-touch and control our synths & computers on a standard, which is good for us…
