Marko is probably the first german guy to demo the machine for everyone to check all basic features of the Korg Odyssey 1 / 2 OSCs, Sync, Ringmod, Filter Sweeps .. it’s all in – don’t listen if you can’t „abstract“ the sound from the music you might want to do. ok, not the first.. wARP – the next generation after Korg – ARP 2600 style synth

Roberto Raineri-Seith just posted this „wARP“ synth – are we getting a new  2600 from a non Korg organisation soon (from switzerland)? it has 4 waveforms on VCO1 and 3 unlike the original which is great for ringmod and FM. so it is not just „a clone“ – the AR / ADSR envelopes are kept. 3243,57€ (3400 SFr) which is a very fair price – UPDATE but atm the euro is weak so it’s a bit more than posted earlier. especially because switzerland isn’t a cheap place to live. alternate ideas is…

ARP ODYSSEY is the one by Korg and seems to have full sized keys, 3 filters (2pole white face, moog and „Arp“ type of 24dB/oct) along with a drive switch and I assume it might have MIDI as simple as the MS20 mini has – note on and off – no velocity since the Odyssey has duophonic modes and is always in that mode it needs to be aware of 2 held keys. they seem to sell it under ARP rather than Korg?.. ..will  be here at NAMM 22.Jan 2015. as…
