Sequences are done using the GRP A4 and a Doepfer Dark Time with a Roland JD 800 and a Korg Wavestation VST. The Leadsound is provided by Arturias Minimoog, the strings by G-Force M-Tron and another Omnisphere. The organ is a GSI VB3. All VSTs are running on Brainspwn Forte 3, VST-Host. something new approaching, also synthtopia asks for the MS20 to come back in form of a real synth.. if so, I ‚d still answer the same when I saw that controller first- make this thing sound just as it is, add octave shift keys and program change and give it 4-8 voices polyphony and a nice double full blown envelope and FM for those OSCs and it could be something very very cool…The Korg MINI MS-20 Monophonic Synthesizer (NAMM Rumor) – it’s now confirmed, there IS a $599 MS20 analog…

CYLONIX CYCLEBOX is a digital Oscillator but is is able to generate a large (huuuge!!) frequency range which sounds like it might be good at FM and everything that is modulated at higher speed (audio, possibly beyond?) , it also has Sync to offer and a lot of waveforms compared to „standard“ analog oscillators. these shapes look interesting: Random pulses, truncated sawtooth, bipolar pulse, mirrored bipolar pulse, resonant sweep, mirrored resonant sweep, vowels, mirrored vowels there are nonlinear waveforms (however – don’t know how they are made /of ..) that „Mega“…

Just had the chance to see both live which is quite rare, .. both brought minimalistic setups, all took place in a (red coloured) cinema – Frank Bretschneider very intresting to see Frank had the Octatrack and did almost all the music on it, the Mac Pro (yes, it had the older keyboard, so it must be an early intel one, thanks to the comment it is NOT a PowerPC Powerbook since it has a Magsafe Connector < – updated) – very much on the spot!! this synth is the second one based on valves, (after the Metasonix S1000, Wretch Machine Analog Synthesizer). der jetzt zweite Synthesizer mit Röhren Technik. he says..
