time to detach the NAMM 2012 news – but for later reference – these where the cool things to remember: • Note, that some posts are updated without notice – like more/new videos and some infos be added to the „old posts“ rather than cluttering the blog with 3-4 updates on the same thing.so start from here. BTW I continue doing so after NAMM as well. • Info: einige Updates zur NAMM und auch generell hier im Blog werden nicht extra angekündigt sondern einfach hinzugefügt zu bestehenden Einträgen, also –…
Love the Eventide H-Series? You may get those as a plugin – will be $149 and $99 for the H3000 and the Blackhole stomp box as a plugin incl all standard plugins they had in the hardware. – blackhole is a delay while the H3000 does everything from reverb to harmonizing. KVR: Eventide announces Blackhole and H3000 Factory Ultra-Harmonizer Native Plug-ins.
maybe this is hard to sell when iPads are around, but they’re trying a dedicated little portable device with audio in, has USB – it’s about 1.5 hands large in size. seems to accept VSTs as well. There’s a position pointer below that looks like chase light TR-style but I assume it’s just helpful but not a TR-kind of input (the keyboard does not appear to be set to 16 step something but there’s arrow keys you COULD switch patterns 16step wise if the software is cool enough, anyway –…
hmm, very straight video, they got. so here’s the second bigger company showing a new mixer based or better built around the iPad (looks like you need lots of them in the future)? worth a look: and.. – unmentioned before / bisher noch nicht hier genannt – iPad Dock Mixers from Behringer – Forum: iPad Pulte von Behringer Info Check: /www.behringer.com/news/behringer … ix1642usb/ It’s basically the Xenyx series, but with iPad Dock, don’t know how good it works with macs and audio, since Behringer has always been really bad with editor software…
Mac Users (not just Mac Users – but those who use / have Thunderbolt) – look at this Thunderbolt Audio Interface, it’s the first beside the Video Thingy from Motu which is not really an audio interface as we want it – so here’s the Apollo High-Resolution Interface with Realtime UAD Processing.- and of course PCs with Thunderbolt work as well – even though – there’s not so many of those out so far. Has Firewire 800 AND Thunderbolt. you might be able to do both with it – country AND…
as mentioned before – those Casios are real synthesizers, both 61 keys and its 2 models: XW-G1 und XW-P1 to be clear: no – it is more sample based, it’s NOT a PD or iPD or whatever synth – so it’s NOT a CZ oder VZ at all, it’s something different. here‘ the synth info: • XWP1 Digital Synthesizer • XWG1 Digital Synthesizer no dubstep in here – well.. (don’t be shocked by that demo „music“) Achtung Werbesprech – ungewöhnliche Ausdrücke für „normale“ Dinge, aber erstmal für die Info.. Aber vorweg – es ist…
Jorrit Dijkstra has one of the rare Cwejman S2 controlled by a flute controller. He wants to be close to the lyricon – which looks like this (and of course is more vintage) – this is not a MIDI Controller – thing, it’s all voltages. Find some audio on his site!
