RME Fireface upgrades – more stable

I have updated the RME stuff quite a while ago when Snow Leopard was very new and they all went to 64bits. Well with taking some hurdles of updating and deleting I fixed my problems on the Mac and updated the Fireface 800 to 2.72 and now it’s also back – I can switch it on and off and nothing freezes. I had those problems after the 2.64 update and did not dare to switch it off when I did not need the audio interface (just surfing etc). so it’s back…

White Apple MacBook – Updated – Neues kleines Macbook

MacBook updated, 2.4GHz now, only 2GB built in (so get yourself cheap4GB somewhere when buying one), NVidia Geforce Graphics (!!), no Firewire (careful for audio stuff!!). So not much but better and more expensive (it’s Apple!) – get the 13″ MBP for 150€ more incl 4GB and Firewire – that’s what I’d recommend here. since FW and RAM is worth that and looks better btw. Reminds of a C-Thru Controller crossed with Eigenharp and Haken Audio Continuum. Has sonsors for pressure and position. Also quantizes the pitches.
