In der Einführung von El Capitan OS X 10.11.  gab es Probleme mit Natives Instruments und Arturia Plugins. Die komplette Collection von Arturia und Native Instruments (habe nur älteres Komplete, neuere kann ich leider nicht testen, habe ich nicht) funktionieren mit dem heutigen Update 10.11.1 wieder in Logic, in Ableton Live haben sie ohnehin immer funktioniert. Well, Alex4 which is Schneidersbüro (Berlin) will continue the work of producing and marketing / selling it. The Hornet – EMS Synthi cloned

The HORNET is obviously a Synthi A but warped into todays components world – so the Matrix and Case is Ghielmetti and todays-stuff. But nevertheless it is hand made and still 5k€ by Derek Revell but made by some guy in Bremen / Germany. Looks nice, huh? Yes – it does. looks quite the same specs.. and with Sample and Hold. Filter with 18 and 24dB/Oct. seems located in germany – the land of golden synths.

Macbeth Elements – sensor keys 3 VCO synth with spring reverb in a EMS’ish way

looks cool and responds to .. touch. – but it’s more like the EMS synthi keyboard and a fast accessible 3 VCO architecture that can do a lot and is possibly faster to patch than the matrix on the EMS synths..  – yes it is! the final result:  Macbeth Elements (built 2015) the Macbeth Elements as shown via Ken Macbeth gave it a listen – it’s really hi-quality sounding with spring reverb tank.
