OS X „Berglöwe“ kommt im Sommer, ist weitgehend iOS-Anpassung, bringt die bekannten iOS Apps und Integration für Social Web mit, setzt iMessages auf OS X Ebene um (ersetzt iChat), etwas brisant und in den Medien als Vorteil gelistet ist die Sicherheitsfunktion, nur aus dem Appstore, nur bekannte Entwickler oder ganz freie Programme installieren zu können. Unter der Haube ist wenig passiert, daher keine große Sache – aber sicher ein Versuch, Microsoft Windows 8 etwas entgegenzusetzen. Preise oder kostenfreie Abgabe ist nicht bekannt. There’s also interesting modules at NAMM. The Mega Wave from Malekko, a Schippmann Filter Module, 600€ – one of the most expensive filter modules – that is – (remember Ebbe+Flut, EbbeFlut subtractive,filterbox!) and XAOC got a little sequencer and wavetable oscillator called tabula rasa. pics: triggered via Matrixsynth & Forum • Namm 2012. and here’s another modules bei WMD (the geiger counter people)

MPC add-on for iPads. I really wondered how to really play pads on the iPad, this solutions seems cool and suitable, and adds sort of mini MPC via the App. don’t know how close to what? MPC500? even the MPC1000?.. Release Summer, the app will be ready before – but it’s $299 – compared a bit pricey, looks like this is more a MPC500 or MPC2000…

hmm, really wondering how they could make the iPad do 48 audio tracks and very close to DAW-editing like this – and those EQ and compressor look really cool, don’t know if they sound as good as I’d expect. But it has it’s price, to me the highest known for apps ever – $50. they even talk about VST Plugins and one being from PSP. I am not sure… but well – I did not find it on the Appstore,. maybe it’s not real? but it looks cool… especially compared…
