Arturia Spark LE – smaller but cheaper + Minilab Controller Keyboard

basically the same as the original Spark but without the display and smaller – and therefore cheaper.. one of the ones that got the idea – TR-style sequencer and all in one controller. the performance bit using the pad willis still possible it’s not a display, but seems they left all of importance in. performing drums! Skip to 2:12 for Hardware Overview / 14:22 for Demos just demo – no real „content“ but to tease, but maybe nice to watch for french housists and another very cheap controller for 99€..…

Arturia goes the Apple way…

looks like Arturia is now permanently lowering prices of all softsynths to 119€ (199€ for most of them before). means – it’s about lowering prices to get the people to buy software who found it’s all too expensive these days, so possibly the synths may work out to cost 99€ for GOOD ONES sooner or later? hmm, did Cubase or Ableton get cheaper because Logic is now 150€ instead of 400€? Hmm, no – but… Ok, and to tell another thing – they went 64bit- it’s NOT a summer special…

Arturia Origin Modular 1.4 adds SEM filters and FX bus/routes

Arturia Origin Modular Synthesizer  gets another update which now has a Oberheim SEM Filter option now (known from Arturias SEM V PlugIn) – of course you can seamlessly „morph“ from lpf to hpf (via notch) and use the BPF alternatively. also it has 2 new insert FX on board. (so it’s 6 fx busses: per channel, 2 aux and 2 master ones). also there’s an addition to the tonewheel organ mode. after the big run on the minimoog V with no other functions than the original has as a free download…

on the 21.st there will be a free Minimoog V version up for everyone. the „original“ addition means, that it is really just „the mini“, no additions, as we know and love Arturia for – but it has the same sound as the minimoog V and you can use it for free – so why not checking it out, then…?
