The smaller version of Launchkey is basically a Launchpad with 2 Lines for triggering and navigating clips and stop them (that’s why it’s 2 lines). Those Pads are dynamic, so it is MORE than the Launchpads‘ non dynamic pads. 2 octaves and mini keys (hence the name). so made for mobile people (like me). works USB-MIDI compliant, so it works for iPads as well. Prepared Piano by Hauschka is a must! table tennis balls, toys, duct tape, and lots of little pieces.. and some delay & reverb from eventide stomp boxes added to the piano.. lots of performances with cars and live-manipulation of fluids and lamps and everything.. Leap Motion is back with a MIDI bridge, so they are aware of making music and using it as a controller. This adds 4 Pots and 4 switches and adds – LFO for Pitch Modulation with Polarity and „Position“ switch – Detuning per Voice (Spread) which is more specific than just unison detune controlled by Envelope and LFO.
