Moog Minimoog – End of Line -> Roland & Behringer Kampf
Moog discontinues the Minimoog very soon – while those 2 Roland and Behringer Minimoog-Inspired Synth will be available at $300 / 400 as seen at Sweetwater (US store) – they put down that offer – don’t know yet what it may mean to us –
but in fact it is a very very hard fight on the low end, $300 is quite the price of the Microbrute when it hit the market to become the cheapest available analog synth.
Rolands S02 has memory, delay and a sequencer – but is not as close to the Mini schematics I guess – while the D-Synth by Behringer is more or less a clone of it – both plus another LFO as well as the new Minimoog by Moog. which is now at it’s end.

Moog hat den Minimoog abgekündigt. Damit geben sie selbst die Bahn frei an die beiden Anwärter auf ähnliche Geräte.
Der Minimoog ist für 3.6k€ bzw für regulär 3.9k€ zu haben.
Aktuell sind Rolands S02 Minimoog-Inspirant für $399 (hier dann für 599€) und Behringers D-Synth für jetzt gerade auf $299,99 gesetzten Superkampfpreises mit hiesigen Preisvermutungen um die 399 € sehr viel günstiger – aber es ist doch irgendwie nicht dasselbe.
Mal sehen, wie und was daraus wird. Der Roland hat Speicher und Delay-Effekte und einen kleinen Sequencer, der Behringer ist ein ziemlich stark am Original-Schaltplan ausgerichteter nicht speicherbarer Synth und der Minimoog aus aktueller Produktion hat – wie alle anderen – einen LFO mit an Bord und dyn. Steuerung über Aftertouch / Anschlagsynamik.
Der Link zum $299,99 D-Synth ist übrigens inzwischen verschwunden.
