Modal Craftsynth 2.0 – Wavetable Microsynthesizer

Er kann wirklich viel, ist technisch und optisch schöner, hat Knöpfe wie der Skulpt aber ist insgesamt kleiner und hat einiges zu bieten, der Editor ist allerdings separat erhältlich für alle 4 großen Plattformen. MIDI Clock Sync gibts ebenfalls optional und das Projekt wird wie der Skulpt über ein Crowdfunding finanziert. 130 € wird er etwa kosten. der Skulpt liegt bei 280€ – und ist 4stimmig, hat ein paar Möglichkeiten in Richtung Shaping und Co. aber keine Wavetables..

Die Features im Craftsynth 2 sind wie die im Skulpt – 8fach Modmatrix, 3 ENVs, 2 LFOS, 2 OSCs …

This Synth can do a lot for it’s money and looks a lot better than the first version , it will be financed through crowdfunding (t.b. announced) – it has Korg and Teenage Engineering Sync in / out, real MIDI jacks and USB that is class compliant and a lot of interesting features – see below..

der alte Craft ist eher eine Art Kartenhaus-Platinen-Synth mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten und nachgereichter Polyphonie (!), das hat man also etwas professionalisiert. Der kleine kostete aber auch nur 70€ – der Craft Rhythm ist wohl etwas untergegangen, der Skulpt und Craftsynth 2 haben aber bestimmt eine Zukunft, ggf. hat er es jetzt etwas schwerer wo es auch günstige kleine Digitale gibt wie Microfreak und Mäander

Die App ist die ModalAPP – und bedient alle Modal Synths – das ist gut so – kostet auch nichts.
