FX Plugins – Eventide (Structural FX Transient) & Structural Audio (R4 Reverb)
1) Eventide sind bekannt für hochwertige Effekte und auch Innovation. In diesem Falle geht es um Structural Effects mit Fission, diese sind etwas diffus zu erklären – aber sie haben mit den Hüllkurven / Transienten des Audiomaterials zu tun, dieses wird zerlegt und angezeigt und geglättet und verändert.
this is analyzing the structure or the contour of your audio – so it’s about envelopes and transients – and changes the character like removing the side kick effect of the snare and emphasizing the classic snare sound. the result isn’t like prosoniqs sonic worx/isolate (sold to zynaptic btw) – not as complex but has something of that character.
Das Ergebnis klingt dann etwas so – hier wird der Seitenschlag auf eine Snare reduziert – und nein, dies ist nicht Isolate von Prosoniq (die es leider nicht mehr gibt):

2) R4 Hall / Reverb von Exponential Audio
It’s a synthesized reverb incl. gated ones that have 2 special features – tail variation and a bit more complex EQing than just hpf and lpf… so this is more like using it in electronic music / pop etc. rather than super dense sampled reverb / convolution FX situations – so this is more for the ones who want an open sound..
Dieses Tool ist ein synthetischer Hall, der sich noch immer bewährt. Übrigens benutze ich auch eher synthetischen als gesampleten Hall (Faltungshall), da der sich deutlich weniger justieren lässt und damit eher starr ist – und oft ist er für elektronische Sachen zu dicht – quasi der Lexicon Effekt.
6 Filter und „Aushall-Typen“ (Tail) und ansonsten einfaches Handling mit einer schönen EQ-Abteilung, um den Basissound anzupassen. Außerdem gibt es „Chorus-Reverb“ und mein geliebtes Gated-Reverb (Hallo Phil, Hallo Skinny Puppy, hallo großer Wumms). Und wie sich das gehört gibt es auch einen Freeze-Button.
