brunov found and hacked the G2 and found a load of interesting modules, some of them seem to work, some don’t – he says, that he might have not found out everything, so some modules may work when addressed properly. Dave Smith Instruments :: Mopho x4 Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer is near. Basically it is a slightly larger Mopho Keyboard , Mopho KB Analog Synthesizer with 4 voices and (my beloved) 3.5 octave sized keyboard (thanks Dave!). Very perfect form and style. This is some sort of „proprietary“ but it shows, how a real new plattform is born without having your own hardware development done and concentrate on a community and your software. Or possibly this might work, meanwhile you simply can have a larger display.. ;) so this is the larger screen on the MPCs (no MPC500 but the other 2), they need a special JJOS and you wont be able to „return“ back to normal but is simply a great idea how to really extend the capabilities. http://www.mpcstuff.com check this…
