Planet Rock and other tales of the 808.is an upcoming documentary on about and featuring the TR808, haa, where’s Kraftwerk? here’s a musical teaser to it. what do you mean? TR808 Drummachine..? trust me, the EES MIDI was one of the best MIDI Kits I had in the TR, why? it’s really dynamic from a very subtle click (0-1 vel) to a big and deep BD. if you could live without the sequencer when using this. aaaand still lots of outboard needed. anyway, one of my fav. machines I used.

Korg re-released 2 colour Microkorgs, both the XL and the old one – 2 schemes (limited), I don’t know who they want hello kitty micropianos to be sold to outside Japan, but well, it’s there. anyway – 10 years of microkorgs was fun, so also notice the microkey colour edition. note the new lion/snow leopard / intel editor is up for all of us here here is some nicely made sample import video on the Korgs Krome.. note that the XL isn’t just as before, it has slightly ADDED ROM…

this seems a mixture of the Jupiter 50/80 series and vdrums based on samples and physical modeling – and an iPad app to control surround 5.1 in the „listening field“ between your speakers. since there is not much said about synthesis and structure we’d assume it is the Gaia/Jupiter50/80 new style sound engine which is about layering and quite classic structure ->;; INTEGRA-7: SuperNATURAL Sound Module.UPDATE: Yes – it is in fact a Jupiter 80 Rack – maybe cool for everyone who do not need 73 keys and might want…

just saw there is a new very Microkorg-style version of the ultranova plus or minus X from novation called Mininova – that m-word is big nowadays. 400€. 37 Tasten/Keys Keyboard mit/with standard MIDI I/O 3 x Oszillatoren / Oscillators, 1 x Noise-Generator, 2 x Ringmodulator/s 15 Filter type – Filter Typen Arpeggiator, 33 Types of Patterns – it has 8 step ARPer which is nice, and well – there is these 8 buttons also being used for variation like LFO speed change for 8 different wobbles or vibrato etc. very cool.…
