the MPC Element is a controller, so the MPC name may be a bit misleading – basically it’s real pads and transport controls. like the MPCs it has 3 colour LED lit pads. Read Moreok, it’s not „the future of…“ but it is a different approach – a keyboard with vibration bar and this 36 wheel and 2 joystick controller can do something on performing.. it’s taking the ondes martenot and persephone idea of adding some bar that can be moved while playing to get more „envelope“ or more life into just playing the keys and using velocity and aftertouch. 2 alternatives: endeavour or this kickstarter project called touch keys

A different approach to the Haken Audio thing or the Linnstrument – and other Controllers that simply try to add more pitch control or at least more or different touch/control in general.. they have a new software out – still in search for no-keyboard-keyboard? get your ass on the Madrona site..
