Novation Launchkey Mini + Desktop Launchcontrol + Launchpad Mini

The smaller version of Launchkey is basically a Launchpad with 2 Lines for triggering and navigating clips and stop them (that’s why it’s 2 lines). Those Pads are dynamic, so it is MORE than the Launchpads‘ non dynamic pads. 2 octaves and mini keys (hence the name). so made for mobile people (like me). works USB-MIDI compliant, so it works for iPads as well. UPDATE: Launchcontrol is the same without the keys, so it is Knobs and one row of Pads that help all Launchpad users to add things they…

Leap Motion with Traktor: First Attempt – dBeam plus Gesture Controller and Mouse enhancement

Leap Motion is back with a MIDI bridge, so they are aware of making music and using it as a controller. Also this is multitouch another way, not really „touching“ a screen but gestures in front of it – so maybe a gesture for some things may be possible… so yes – you can do your MIDI with it without coding your own translator software. but still you can point your finger to photoshop and play games.. -> GECO is the name of the MIDI app. Die Finger und Hand…

TouchKeys Multi-Touch Musical Keyboard – 2D Controller per key

TouchKeys Multi-Touch Musical Keyboard by Andrew McPherson is a controller overlay that allows to track the finger position on the key – the one I ever wanted. Since this is a Kickstarter project it is not yet available but you could do it.. but it’s for large Keys, not for mini sized ones (Microkorgm etc) – I wish this feature would be standard on all keyboards on the world and freely assignable. these send MIDI Controllers via USB. And it’s open source. The kits are assembled or DIY for your controller.…

The Claude Controller – Vibe Bar addition to keyboard and Wheel Controller.

Soundplane Controller

yxou do know, that I am a big fan of Aalto, the Software synth – this controller is not new to those, who have been following my posts on Madrona. A different approach to the Haken Audio thing or the Linnstrument – and other Controllers that simply try to add more pitch control or at least more or different touch/control in general.. they have a new software out – still in search for no-keyboard-keyboard? get your ass on the Madrona site..

Seaboard – Touch Keyboard

Seaboard is quite close to the idea of the Haken Audio Continuum – touch the keys and bend by just moving the fingers sideways by ROLI it reacts to finger position and pressure but has not that „flat“ design as the Haken Continuum. but also has an internal sound source – many Haken players tend to use the internal sound generation as well, so.. and Roli is from the UK, so it’s closer and more affordable. seabord  @ Forum http://youtu.be/gezmPUaXJUQ MTF Special: Jamie Cullum on The SeaboardDieses Video auf YouTube ansehen…
