Undergrind is a hardwarebased liveact without computer. The main goal is to let the music evolve into soundscapes that can lead into many directions. To achieve this there is no absolute determination of the progression and chronology of the musical elements. That makes it possible to react and act spontanously. As a solution the music can reach from really smooth into sometimes rather hard "in-your-face" parts but never remaining too long on one level of energy. Though it is still important to create a certain "story" in the music which covers the whole performance from the beginning to the end. To fulfill this the Undergrind is more a diversified act for one hour than a monosonic one for two hours. | Undergrind is a hardwarebased liveact without computer. Undergrind mischt seit 2 Jahren mit seinem Hardwarebasierenden Liveset die Berliner Club- und Kunstszene auf. Mit schokierenden Brechbeats, alarmierenden Junglegewittern, postapokalyptischen Groovekaskaden und einer frivolen Bühnenperformance wird aus der Show eine musiktheatralische Darbietung einzelner durchkomponierter Songs. Dabei bedient er sich vielfaeltiger stilistischer Einfluesse die von den harten Gangarten der Elektronik über ambiente Klanglandschaften bis zu jazzigen Spielarten reicht. Durch langjährige Praxis als Jazz- und Theatermusiker vor allem mit der Schwarzwälder Combo "Leichenkehricht" und diversen anderen Projekten erwarb Undergrind kompositorische Erfahrung die auch in seiner elektronischen Musik zum Vorschein kommt. | |||
