this is a CTRLR Patch for editing the Waldorf Microwave XTk , Microwave XT Digital Synthesizer, of course it can not access the Waves and Tables since they are higher SysEx commands, but this one looks nice to use. looks like a lot of work, tho‘ update: since it is not exactly free check the site – the demo is free! .. see comment! it’s here: monstrumMedia   note: update for the Wolfgang Palm App „Wavegenerator“, since it’s about Wavetables – the features look very interesting.

TRICKS IM WALD… Q, Q+, microQ ,microQ lite ,XTk ,XT , Microwave 2 , etc.. einige nützliche Tips in English.. findest du hier… diverses FM und wavetables etc.. synthese? wie funktionierts? FM generell zu wavetables gibt es unter basiswissen (synth?) eine volle diplomarbeit und eine einfache erklärung in kurzform. wie WAVETABLES aus WAV dateien gebastelt werden können hier trance sounds wie macht man diesen typischen trance lead sound? und womit? hier micro Q komplett reset „Instr3″+“Global“ gedrückt halten. Danach sind allerdings auch alle Multis und Drummaps initialisiert. löscht alle sounds.…

WALDORF… Wavetables can be extracted from WAV files using emagic sounddiver (used only today! mac: on apples site for some time, pc: used only) . but what kind of sample makes sense? you might select 10 waves to let sounddiver convert the sample (WAV format) to the wavetable spectra , one single wave is simply one sonic spectra. of course you CAN choose up to 60 waves, but it sounds very rough and isn’t worth it! so my recommendation is: use around 10 waves.. depending on the changing of the…
